Émile Belcourt (1926-2017) was born in Laflèche, Saskatchewan. Her graceful voice allowed her to pursue an international career in singing, shining in the greatest opera houses in Europe and the world.

This capsule project was developed in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Historical Society and the violin music is created and performed by Gilles Groleau.
