Kochi: The license of the biker who caused the accident in the death of the scooter passenger in Tripunithura has been cancelled. The license of Vishnu, a native of Kanjiramattam, was cancelled. Suspension of the license is usually the norm, but cancellation of the license is extremely rare in the state.

The accident took place on November 17. Kavya Dhanesh, a senior executive at Synergy Oceanic Service Center in Kadavantra, Kochi, died. After driving the vehicle carelessly and hitting the scooter passenger, he left without stopping the vehicle.

Vishnu’s bike hit the scooter carelessly at high speed. The private bus that came after Kavya’s body, which fell on the road, went up and down through the woman’s body. The woman was immediately taken to the hospital but died on the way.

The investigation revealed that Vishnu’s careless driving was the cause of the accident. Thripunithura Joint RTO revoked Vishnu’s license citing that if he continues to drive he will cause danger to the public.
