Elsa Morante Award: here are the winners of the sections dedicated to children

The 2024 edition of the Elsa Morante Awardthis year ideally dedicated to History, the novel that celebrates 50 years since its publication. Of Gianluca Caporaso who wins the Elsa Morante Ragazzi Award – prose and poetry, History of the world, from the big bang to today (The Ship of Theseus) by Giordano Bruno Guerri who wins the Elsa Morante Ragazzi Award – La Storia e Love harder, Iranian girls walk in front of us (Solferino) by Barbara Stefanelli who wins the Elsa Morante Ragazzi Award – for Social Affairs.

Around ten thousand children from all over the world (among others from Albania, France, the United States, Russia) will be able to read them and choose their favorite book which will win the additional Elsa Morante Scuole Award. For Italian and foreign reading groups, it is still possible, until the end of March, to sign up to be part of this jury by sending a membership email to [email protected].

A thousand young people will attend the final event live, which will be held on May 15th at the Rai Auditorium in Naples. For everyone else it will be possible to follow the live broadcasts on the Facebook and Instagram channels of the Elsa Morante Award and Rai. The 2024 Elsa Morante Award will be hosted by Alessandro Incerto e Tiuna Notarbartolo.
