Els De Schepper Overcomes Depression and Long Covid, Ready to Launch New Show and Book in September

Els De Schepper was out of action for months, but she fought back and is now ready to stand on the podium again. In September she will launch a new show and accompanying book, but first she talks about her long agony.

Sleeping eleven hours a night and still tired, her voice failed, her memory failed: Els De Schepper was in bad shape a little less than a year ago. She was diagnosed with depression and heartburn. A doctor prescribed her IVs and a series of supplements.

“And then something strange happened. I received a page with a special discount code of 10 percent if I ordered supplements online. It may be true, and this seems to be a widespread practice, that the doctor receives 20 to 40 percent for each product prescribed,” said De Schepper.

“Conflict of Interest”

“Then there might be a conflict of interest, because that doctor can earn a lot. I want to warn people: if a doctor gives a discount code, be urgent,” said De Schepper, who got a completely different diagnosis after talking to another doctor. She wasn’t depressed, she had long covid. Thanks to the right treatment, she is now on the mend again.

“I want to tell you what happened, but above all remember: I’m back and I’m going to play again. i’m back”, Els affirms, after which she tells her story here. Now that she has regained her strength, she will return in the autumn with her new show What am I doing here?!. She gets a different BV each time, while the audience is very much involved in the show.
