New Yorkers were lucky enough to spot Tesla’s new vehicle on the streets made with same alloy as SpaceX rockets. This giant pickup obviously turned a lot of heads, since with its atypical design, it does not go unnoticed.

As can be seen in the videos posted on social media, passers-by were all eager to unsheath their smartphones to immortalize the moment. Tesla’s official account even posted its own video of the Cybertruck roaming the streets of New York City.

The Cybertruck was on display in New York for a day

After appearing in the streets of New York, the vehicle was displayed in a Tesla store in the Meatpacking District. He then stayed there most of the day. Unsurprisingly, this one drew many visitors curious to see this monster in person.

On the videos of Internet users, we can notice that the Cybertruck looks much more imposing than the other vehicles. Therefore, we imagine that this one may not be suitable for small European towns. Indeed, it is rare to see streets as wide as those of New York.

The Cybertruck is a futuristic six-seater pickup, made in ” ultra-hard 30X cold rolled stainless steel “And” armored glass “, is capable of” reach 100 km / h per hour in about 2.9 seconds in its three-engine configuration. The vehicle starts at $ 39,900 for the single-fitter version. It goes up to $ 69,900 for the more expensive variant. Tesla Cybertruck production will take place at the new Texas Gigafactory in Austin. It will likely start at the end of the year, but could be postponed to 2022.
