FLORIDA – SpaceX employs 7,000 people, worth more than $100 billion. NASA has awarded him a $2.9 billion contract to build a lunar lander capable of carrying astronauts to the moon.

However, the current production situation presents a major obstacle to achieving that goal by the desired date.

“SpaceX CEO Elon Musk sent nervous emails to his employees on Friday, encouraging them to work on SpaceX’s Raptor engine line over the weekend and calling the production situation a crisis,” the Space Explore report said.

According to the report, citing internal emails obtained, Musk said the company faced “a real risk of bankruptcy” if production of the company’s new engines for Starship rockets did not increase to accommodate high flight rates “at least once every two weeks” next year.
