Elon Musk’s much-discussed acquisition of Twitter has yet to be completed. The tech billionaire will pay $ 44 billion for the social network, the amount he offered in April, according to a leading US media report.
The news has not yet been officially confirmed, but Musk tweeted that “the bird has been released,” a reference to the Twitter logo. Earlier this week, he had already changed the description in his Twitter bio to “Chief Twit”.
According to US media, Twitter bosses Parag Agrawal and Ned Segal have already been fired by Musk.
