A California bakery recently embroiled in a payment dispute with Tesla has announced that the outstanding bill has been paid. The settlement followed billionaire Elon Musk’s vow to address the issue of a mini pie supply order that had been canceled.

Giving Pies, a Black-owned bakery located in San Jose, reported that Tesla had initially placed an order for 2,000 mini pies on Valentine’s Day. The unexpected order, worth $6,000, promised a financial boost for the small business. However, the order was subsequently doubled to 4,000 pies and later canceled without payment.
