The 95-year-old British monarch drove herself to the show on Friday morning in a black Range Rover, which is held just a stone’s throw from Windsor Castle. The day before, Elizabeth was also present. They only left Scotland especially in time to be able to experience the first day of the horse event.
The Royal Windsor Horse Show is one of Elizabeth’s favorite outings of the year. The event, which lasts through Sunday, has been organized since 1943. The Queen has only missed one edition. Last year, due to the corona pandemic, the physical edition was canceled and the show was held online.
