The visit was the last leg of Elizabeth’s tour of Scotland. The Queen visited the country as part of Holyrood Week, a week celebrating Scottish culture and traditions.
In recent days, the queen visited a Scottish soft drink factory, among other things. She also met the Prime Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon. During the first part of her tour, Elizabeth was assisted by her grandson Prince William. Her daughter Princess Anne took over from him for the last days.
