Eli Manning has a new job with the Giants de New York. The twice Most valuable Player of Super Bowl se rejoins the organization to work on business opportunities and fan initiatives.
The Giants announced the hiring on Monday, roughly 18 months after Manning he will retire after the 2019 season.
“For 16 seasons, Eli He represented and defined what it meant to be a Giant and we are excited to have him join the business side of our main office, ”said team co-owner and CEO John Mara.
“Eli is one of the most beloved players in the history of the Giants. We had a mutual interest in him returning to the organization and we are delighted to welcome him back, “he added.
Manning, who set the most approval records for the Giants, will assist with initiatives spanning business development, marketing, and community and corporate relations. He will also assist in the development of original content and fan engagement activations, including a new lifestyle series that will premiere this fall.
