eleven medals for Normandy in the final

They were 36 young Normans to have made the trip to Lyon this weekend in mid-January, for the national final of the Olympiads of trades: 5 gold medals, four in silver and two in bronze were won.

They fought to reach the final and will now be able to dream of going even higher. The next step is to represent France, in Shanghai, for the gold medalists who will go to the Worldskills.

36 young Normans made the trip to Lyon for the grand national final of the 2022 Trades Olympiad which had been held since Thursday. 50 professions were represented with 600 candidates during this edition. Our Normans competed in 32 categories.

I feel a pride that goes far beyond the results of our champions! Their perfectionism, their state of mind, their know-how… they are role models for all young people! The participants in these finals can be proud of the journey they have made, of their profession which they defend with passion and perseverance, of the high level of skills required to climb on one of the steps of the podium
