JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Bank Indonesia the plan will free the alias advance DP 0 percent for environmentally friendly motor vehicle loans as of October 1, 2020.
This was conveyed by the Governor of BI Perry Warjiyo in a video conference, Thursday (20/8/2020).
“BI will lower the minimum down payment limit from 5% – 10% to 0%,” Perry said, as quoted by Kontan.co.id.

However, with regard to the specific provisions related to environmentally sound vehicles in question, Perry said that the central bank did not issue this provision.
The monetary authority leaves everything related to the classification of environmentally friendly vehicles to the government.
So far, Perry said that the environmentally friendly vehicles in question include electric motorized vehicles.
