NEWS By 12 noon, over 8,000 ballots had been issued in the Kolbuszów district. This gives a turnout of 16.78%. The most votes so far have been cast by residents of the Kolbuszowa and Majdan Królewski communes. What is it like in other communes?

In the Kolbuszów poviat, we elect one mayor (Kolbuszowa) and five mayors (of the communes of Cmolas, Dzikowiec, Niwiska, Raniąów and Majdan Królewski). To vote at the polling station, you must take your ID with you. Its presentation to the committee is necessary to participate in the vote.

  • Dzikowiec commune: 5,134 entitled to vote, 854 cards issued – 16,63 proc. votes cast
  • Together: 49 647 entitled to vote, 8,329 cards issued – 16,78 proc. votes cast

Voters will receive three to four ballots on site. On each of these cards, you can only mark one name by placing an X next to it. Your vote will be considered invalid if no X is marked or if more than one person’s name is marked.

Election silence also on the Internet

Electoral silence applies until the end of voting. Violation of this prohibition may result in the imposition of a fine of up to PLN 1 million. During this time, it is not allowed to publish the results of polls or conduct canvassing for specific candidates or electoral lists. This prohibition also applies to activities on the Internet.

First survey results

When the voting ends, the electoral silence also ends. After 9 p.m., television stations such as TVP, Polsat and TVN will announce the election results based on an exit poll conducted by Ipsos.

This poll is based on the responses of voters leaving the polling stations. Based on the collected information, the estimated voting results will be presented immediately after the end of the electoral silence.

They include percentage support for electoral committees at the level of provincial assemblies across the country, data on turnout and results for individual candidates for mayor in six selected cities: Kraków, Gdańsk and Rzeszów.
