The Oerlemans family had to interrupt their holiday, because their eldest daughter Fiene had to go to the hospital. The 16-year-old had a huge stomach ache and had to be admitted. It turned out that she had appendicitis. “I’m not the kind of mother who panics right away, but after a few hours it was time for action,” Danielle said in her Instagram Stories.

“It all worked out after 12 hours of receiving the best care from the best nurses, doctors and support from family and friends. This allows me to realize how privileged I am with the people around me, ”said Danielle. In another Story it becomes clear that Fiene is helped by her younger sister.
