Elden Ring PC version gets patch that fixes deathloop bug – Gaming – News

FromSoftware released a small patch for the Elden Ring on Wednesday. The patch aims to prevent PC players from ending up in an infinite deathloop are forced after their game crashes.

In the patch notes of Elden Ring version 1.03.2 it states that “a bug in multiplayer mode that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect coordinates on the map” has been resolved.

Various Elden Ring players encountered the bug after their world was invaded by a pvp player. He then performed a certain skill, after which the player’s game crashed. Restarting the game will send the user into an endless “deathloop” where the character dies immediately after respawning.

Before the bug was fixed, PC players were advised to disable Elden Ring’s online mode. They could also back up their save files.
