Elden Ring has finally been released – that’s the game

That’s exactly what increases the anticipation, because you remain cryptic – and of course we don’t want to give too much away. A mysterious narrative voice speaks pathetically in the trailer, but the makers of the Dark Souls series don’t let their cards be looked at. Only this much is known: the setting is the land between, ruled by glorious heroes, heirs to the blood of Queen Marika, the Eternal. Gamers play as a descendant of the Tainted, a group of heroes banished from the Between Lands. But the destruction of the Elden Ring shakes the land and the Earth Tree, leading the Tainted back to challenge the former heroes and become the new Elden Lord. Mammoth task is an understatement. Challenge accepted.
