Elda City Council offers free workshops on the safe use of the internet and social networks for students in the city’s educational centers

The Elda City Council, through the Departments of Youth, Education and Digital Divide, has been offering free workshops since October that, under the name ‘Cyber ​​ICT training’, include specific training to learn how to carry out online procedures, such as obtaining the Digital Certificate, learning to search for employment through the Internet or using the Internet safely and detecting false news or ‘fake news’.

Throughout this month the workshops aimed at boys and girls between 10 and 18 years old. The training is aimed at the groups that the tutors from the different educational centers in Elda have identified as priorities and it has been the centers that have decided which times are most suitable for carrying out the workshops.
