Step- Health authorities reported this morning the death of 19 people in El Paso from Covid-19.
According to the Health Department, the deaths did not occur on the same day, but over a period of approximately two months.
In addition to the deaths, authorities reported 190 new cases of Covid-19 in El Paso County, as well as 24 additional cases that are part of delayed local results issued by the State to the Department of Public Health. The results come from tests conducted during weeks 44, 46, 47, 48 and 51 of the CDC. We are currently in week 52.
Health officials reported that 58 thousand 48 people have recovered from Covid-19, however, 35 thousand 761 active cases still persist.
