As part of the actions promoted by the governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, in favor of education, it is sought that the Entity be the first in the country where students master English through “El Gigante Bilingüe”.
The objective of the strategy is that at the end of basic education, students have level B1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and also a certification.
Thanks to the will and vision of the governor, we are working on the consolidation of Language Centers in the 11 municipalities, where students will be able to reinforce the English classes they take in the classrooms or, in the cases that they do not have them, access them and take them free of charge.
With the implementation of this project, job opportunities will open up for English teachers. It is worth mentioning that within the actions of “El Gigante Bilingüe” the organization of conferences for educators, international exchanges, the creation of an online learning program for students, the constant training of teaching staff, the development of courses of training for teachers, among others.
LOANS TO MERCHANTS OF 5 DE MAYO
As a follow-up to the agreements established with merchants and businessmen on 5 de Mayo Street, in the downtown area of the capital, the State Government made available to them the range of credit programs of the Aguascalientes Financing System (SIFIA).
In this state credit system, seven programs are offered that have the most competitive interest rates in the financial market with amounts from 5,000 pesos and up to 15 million pesos, with additional benefits such as grace periods and principal payments without penalty.
