El Al returns to fly to Thailand

Recently, there has been an increase in demand for “ventilation” flights to various destinations in the world, including flights to the East. In response to the desire of the Israelis to fly to Thailand, El Al is bringing back the direct flights to Phuket and increasing the supply of seats to Bangkok. The direct flights to Phuket will begin on February 1, 2024, and ticket sales have opened on the company’s website and at all travel agents. El Al will operate up to 3 weekly flights to Phuket on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and return on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Tuesdays. The price of a ticket to Thailand from February will start at $799.

Shlomi Zafarani, VP of Commercial and Aviation Relations at El Al: “El Al currently operates flights to 35 different destinations around the world, and works to maintain the air bridge between Israel and the world. We frequently monitor changes in customer preferences and update our flight schedule accordingly. Recently, we see a growing need among many Israelis to create respites from the situation and go out to ventilate abroad, and accordingly we make sure to provide a wide range of options for our customers.”
