Former Feyenoord player Karim El Ahmadi has not yet decided where he will play next season. The technical director of FC Twente, Jan Streuer is hopeful that the 35-year-old midfielder will be in midfield at FC Twente next season. “I have the feeling that it will work. But he must still want it all,” Streuer told RTV Oost.
El Ahmadi tells the Algemeen Dagblad that he is not yet sure what he wants to do in the future. “The plans they have looked good. I just told them that I am not going to make a decision yet and that they should not wait for me. If they can get another player for my place, they have to do that,” says El Ahmadi.
El Ahmadi is currently playing at Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia. The competition will resume from August 4 to September 4. El Ahmadi wants to have made its decision in mid-August.
