The 2022/23 DFB Cup is approaching its climax. Next up is the quarterfinals of the tournament. At this point, almost only clubs from the 1st Bundesliga are still there. Only 1. FC Nürnberg remained as a second division club. If the club wants to win the cup, it still has to defeat Eintracht Frankfurt, Union Berlin, FC Bayern, SC Freiburg, VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund.
In the quarter-finals, these clubs are all fighting to advance. Eintracht Frankfurt meets Union Berlin here. Frankfurt had a rather relaxed round of 16 and were able to safely qualify for the next round with a 4:2 win over second division team Darmstadt. Union Berlin, on the other hand, had to prevail against VFL Wolfsburg, but in the end they were able to prove themselves with a 2-1 win.

The quarter-finals of the 2022/23 DFB Cup will take place on April 4th and 5th according to the match schedule for the 2022/23 DFB Cup.
