Egyptian Singer Hassan Shakoush Accused of Spreading False Death Rumor

Barely a few hours passed after the crisis of the Egyptian festival performer, Hassan Shakoush, ended with his ex-wife, Reem Tariq, until a new crisis flared up around him, but this time the reason was singer Iman Al-Bahr Darwish.

After Reem announced the end of the differences that arose between the two parties during the past months, and it was the talk of social media platforms and TV channels, Ahmed Yahya Fayed, the lawyer for the family of the artist Iman Al-Bahr Darwish, revealed a communication submitted to the Egyptian Public Prosecutor against Shakush.

The communication accuses Shakoush of spreading the rumor of the death of the grandson of the late musician Sayed Darwish, who is still lying in his sick bed these days between expectations of a sad end and hopes for recovery.

In a telephone interview with the “Red Line” program on the “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” channel, Fayed revealed the details of the communication, explaining that Shakoush had published on his personal page on “Facebook” the rumor of death.

And he said: “After Hassan Shakoush’s post, the world was ruined for the family of the artist, Iman Al-Bahr Darwish,” noting that “many people went home and called the family, and all the media reported the news from his page.”

He added, “The communication is still under discussion in the Dokki Prosecution Office until now,” stressing that Eman’s family adheres to all its rights and will not give up its communication.

Omnia, the daughter of Eman Al-Bahr Darwish, quickly denied the news of her father’s death, saying on her personal Facebook account: “The news of Baba’s death is not true.”

It is noteworthy that the United Media Services Company had announced, earlier, that it would sponsor the treatment of the artist, Iman Al-Bahr Darwish, after his daughter revealed his deteriorating health condition.

The company confirmed, in a statement, that it is in contact with the family of the famous artist to discuss his exact health situation, in preparation for providing the best treatment methods.

For his part, the artist, Mustafa Kamel, the head of the Syndicate of Musical Professions in Egypt, justified the fact that none of the members of the Syndicate Council communicated with Iman Al-Bahr Darwish, that his phone was out of service, pointing out that he was unable to know the number of his daughter, Omnia, who did not respond to his message via Facebook. .

Kamel said, at the time, via Facebook: “I offer my sincere prayers for the recovery of the great artist Iman Al-Bahr Darwish, and I announce that since one o’clock at night I have received messages from some fellow journalists including a picture of the artist on his sickbed, and I contacted everyone I know, and even appealed to My personal page, all colleagues in the music community, to infer the artist’s number, Iman Al-Bahr, or his daughter’s number.

He added, “As soon as I received two numbers specifically, I called them immediately, and one of them was closed, and the second was not answered at all, then I sent a message on the page of Mrs. Omnia, his daughter, and also the message was not answered.”
