Landsberg and
Kaufering are at the start of the spring-summer semester. Even if it is not yet known whether face-to-face events will be possible again after March 7, the two adult education centers are well prepared, according to a press release.
The start of the semester is planned for March 1st. The broad spectrum of topics across the six program areas can also be found in the coming semester. The number of events themselves was slightly reduced due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic regulations. Registrations are already possible. The VHS in Landsberg and the VHS in Kaufering have put all events on their respective websites, where they are updated daily. Of course, you can also inquire by phone or email when the desired course is likely to start. A personal visit to the offices is not possible at the moment.
In addition to face-to-face courses, three different types of event are offered: Some courses start as online courses and immediately revert to face-to-face form as soon as the regulations permit. Additional modules on the Internet are also provided for in individual courses if a participant cannot come to the VHS. And there are purely online events that definitely take place.
Of course, both educational institutions hope to reopen soon without restrictions. The focus in the VHS program will therefore again be on personal encounters in the new semester. (lt)
