The atmosphere was festive on Friday, September 24, 2021, in the grounds of the Sinzibo school group in Yamoussoukro, precisely at the nursery school level. In joy and fervor, the entire educational community of the city was present to receive the renovated buildings of these schools.
Indeed, at the initiative of Minister Souleymane Diarrassouba to whom information on the state of degradation had been provided by the COGES of this school group, the general management of the Atlantic Bank of Côte d’Ivoire (BACI) signed a partnership agreement with the renowned educational establishment, which resulted in the renovation of the roofs of the five nursery schools built since 1978 by President Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
On the occasion of this sympathetic ceremony, the Minister renewed the commitment made to the populations of the political capital which is summed up in the joke “Winning for Yamoussoukro”. Anything that clearly explains the various development actions initiated by him for the development of the populations of the city. “This can only be achieved in a climate of peace, of solidarity with the involvement of all the sons and daughters of Yamoussoukro,” he insisted.
In the process, Minister Souleymane Diarrassouba returned to the important work carried out by the Government in the education sector, with the construction of many colleges, primary classrooms, school canteens and the recruitment of many teachers. . Also, he recalled obtaining funding from the French Development Agency (AFD) for the rehabilitation of the Yamoussoukro Scientific High School.
“On the occasion of this official handover ceremony for the renovated kindergarten buildings of the EPP Sinzibo, I am pleased to express all my gratitude to the President of the Republic, SEM. Alassane OUATTARA for all the efforts devoted to the promotion of national education and the training of human capital, ”he said.
To the BACI, whose Director General, Arsène Coulibaly, was present for the ceremony with a strong delegation, the Minister of Trade and Industry expressed all his gratitude for the civic commitment of this important banking establishment .
On behalf of the actors of the education system, the Regional Director of National Education and Literacy, Fofana Mamadou, expressed his gratitude to Minister Souleymane Diarrassouba, whose commitment to the school in Yamoussoukro suffers from the slightest doubt.
As proof of this, he sought the rehabilitation of a building at the Energie school group which was a nightmare for students and teachers, which was also delivered on the morning of Friday, September 24, 2021, to the parents of students by Massara Diabaté Touré, who represented the Minister of Commerce and Industry. Finally, Drena invited teachers to take good care of these different infrastructures.
