On February 9, the Board of Education voted to safely return to in-person learning on March 1, 2021, starting with students enrolled in special education and vocational education programs and technical. In addition, the Council has approved the gradual return of students to in-person instruction as of March 15, 2021. Families who have chosen virtual learning in the preference questionnaire will not be returning to school buildings and will be able to receive teaching in a completely virtual way. The board also voted to change the 2020-2021 school calendar to make March 8 a non-educational day so staff can complete building preparation and participate in professional development before students return.
