Eduardo Valdés: “I didn’t give myself the second dose; I have to show that I don’t steal vaccines”

—In March of this year, deputy Mónica Frade, from the Civic Coalition, referred to you as the one who “stole a vaccine”. You replied that “I made the decision not to give myself a second dose because I did not steal a vaccine from anyone.” Did you finally get the second dose?

—No.

“Still no second dose?”

“I still don’t have a second dose.” I’m waiting for the second dose to finish, especially the one I had given myself, Sputnik, which was the one I was missing the most.

-How old are you?

—65.

“He should have touched you more than a month ago.”

“You’re touching me on topics that I discuss a lot as a family.” Until I’m convinced it’s okay, I’m not going to do it. I must prove to third parties that I do not steal vaccines. I did not steal it, but they told me that I had to be vaccinated to go to Mexico City to work, the one with the highest contagion at that time. It was something public, but what he put together was put together.

“Your mistress is a psychoanalyst.” Do you feel guilty about the first dose and that is why you do not take the second?

“She doesn’t tell me that, but it’s what I feel.” The psychoanalyst is you. I feel pain from having gone through that circumstance. One has to bear witness to things. It’s the only way I have to prove that it didn’t happen. That I did not steal the vaccine and, above all, dose two, which is highly required. The vaccine is very good even with a single dose. I do antigen tests and I am very well, above 70%.
