Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Joachim Andersen.
According to The Mirror, Andersen with a £ 20 million rating, on loan at Fulham Lyon, is on Edu’s radar this summer as Arsenal look to beef up their central defense options.
And if they end up hiring him, it will be a second time lucky case for the Gunners.
That’s because the 24-year-old was previously on Arsenal’s shopping list in 2019 when Raul Sanllehi was making the decisions in North London, and he turned them down.

When asked by Foot Mercato if he regretted flipping a switch at Emirates Stadium, Andersen said two years ago: “There were some good clubs, but Lyon was the best option for me. I wanted to develop as a player, play the Champions League, be in a top team fighting for the title and Lyon was the best solution ”.
Following those comments, it appears that Champions League football was a deciding factor in Andersen’s decision to snub Arsenal.
Interestingly, Mikel Arteta’s team is potentially three games away from returning to Europe’s elite competition, being in the Europa League semi-final, and their hopes of signing the Denmark international may hinge on whether or not they make it all the way to the end. .
