Like every evening, here is the situation at CHR Metz-Thionville. The trend recorded in recent days is down.
Number of patients at the pre-cohorting stage, that is to say suffering from worrying symptoms, awaiting a Covid-19 test result: out of 40 open beds, 14 are occupied.
Number of Covid-19 positive patients whose state of health requires hospitalization (cohorting): 162 open beds, 139 patients.
Number of intensive care patients : 100 open beds, 68 patients.
The number of pre-cohort patients is down compared to this Friday evening which had 32 patients. But the pressure remains strong in the intensive care unit where it is specified, on the side of the management of the CHR, that these are heavy and fragile cases. We also learn that the reception capacities in general will not be adjusted downward, this to prepare for any eventuality during this weekend. The situation will be reassessed on Tuesday.
