After the Champions League game in Paris, Ed Sheeran had the chance to look behind the scenes of the stadium – and get to know Lionel Messi.

Who is the superstar here? Musician Ed Sheeran (30) and footballer Lionel Messi (34) met in France after the Paris Saint-Germain game against Manchester City.
Apparently Sheeran was a guest with his father John and his wife Cherry Seaborn (29) in the VIP area of the Prinzenpark Stadium in Paris. After the Champions League game there was a meet and greet of the stars.
Photos are evidence of thisthat Sheeran posted on his Instagram account. He stands next to Messi and hugs him casually while the proud fan grin is clearly written on his face. But the footballer also laughs enthusiastically into the camera.
In another snapshot, he can be seen with PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino (49). While Sheeran seems to be telling him something in the picture, Pochettino pats him on the shoulder in appreciation. Sheeran thanked the photos in the caption: “Thank you for inviting me and my family!” And marked Messi, Pochettino and the PSG club.
Sheerans Mannschaft: Ipswich Town
Usually, however, the musician – typically Ed Sheeran – likes it a few sizes smaller. He has been a fan of English football third division Ipswich Town since childhood. The singer is the club’s shirt sponsor and received his own shirt with the number 17 as a thank you in August.
