What we reported earlier this morning is now official: The EC VSV confirms Dan Ceman as the new head coach!
The 46-year-old Canadian was active as a player in the North American AHL and ECHL as well as several seasons in Denmark.
For the past two seasons, Ceman has coached HC 05 Banska Bystrica and led to two championship titles in a row.
Before the end of the season this year in early March, Ceman was on the way to a third title in a row with the Slovakian troop.
“With Dan Ceman, we were able to bring a very successful trainer on board, whose reputation leads the way. In his 7 years as a trainer, he has won four championship titles in Denmark and Slovakia, and we are very much looking forward to working with them, ”said Sports Director Gerald Rauchwald.
