Earthquake in Romania. A strong earthquake occurred this evening in the county of Vrancea.
And earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 on the Richter scale it occurred on Sunday evening in Vrancea, according to information published by the National Research – Development Institute for Earth Physics (INCDFP).
The earthquake occurred at 21:39, at a depth of 85 kilometers.
The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 79 km S of Bacău, 96 km E of Brașov, 106 km NW of Galați, 112 km NW of Brăila, 118 km NE of Ploiesti, 157 km SW of Iași, 167 km N of Bucharest, 189 km NE of Pitesti, 202 km SW of Chisinau and 207 km E of Sibiu.
The largest earthquake this year occurred on November 3, 2022 and had a magnitude of 5.4, while last year an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale was recorded on May 26.
