An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred on Monday morning, at 0:39, in Oltenia, in Gorj county, at a depth of 10 kilometers, informs Rador.

The National Research-Development Institute for Earth Physics revised from 4.6 to 4.5 the magnitude of the earthquake produced Monday night at 0:39 in Oltenia, Gorj county.
The depth was also revised, from 10 to 14 kilometers. The earthquake occurred near the cities of Târgu Jiu, Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Hunedoara, Râmnicu Valcea, Deva and Craiova.
At 1:00, another earthquake occurred in the same area with a magnitude of 2.6 at a depth of 14.4 kilometers.
