EA Sports FC will be out for PC and consoles in 2023, but there could be just one version rather than multiple editions. A note also indicates paid updates.

The second half of the year will see the release of EA Sports FC, the soccer sim that decades ago was, and still is, known as “FIFA”.
According to rumors from the Twitter channel FUTZone, the introduction of the new name could start a new sales model from Publisher EA. According to FUTZone, it is possible that EA no longer publishes different editions, but only one version, and fans should then be able to update them annually for a fee.
Still view this possible concept with skepticism, but with a fresh start in a sense, EA could actually decide on new monetization methods.
So far there have been different editions of a game release in the series year after year. Fans know them as “Standard Edition” or “Deluxe Edition”. Ea offered them at different prices and with various bonuses such as for FIFA Ultimate Team and with early access.
