In total, more than 90 qualification tournaments take place nationwide, in which the finalists are played out. Well over 10,000 amateur gamers have the opportunity to take part in the tournament and apply to succeed last year’s winner Jan-Luca Bass alias Bassinho1998.
It’s not just about fame and honor, but also about prizes that have their charm. The first three places in the selection round will receive PSN credits worth 100 euros, 40 euros and 20 euros. The winner will also take part in the NRW finals on July 10th.

There, the best FIFA players in North Rhine-Westphalia will win prize money totaling 2,500 euros: the winner can take home 1,500 euros, the runner-up 700 euros and third place still receives 300 euros.
The Volksbank Schnathorst selection tournament will be held on Monday, June 7th. It starts at 7 p.m. Fifa players from the region aged 16 and over who want to compete on the console can register for the tournament. 128 starting places are available – so be quick.
The tournament mode and rules should be familiar to most players. Each participant plays as a single player and there is free choice of team (team type 90 OVR). Continuous use is worthwhile, because the game is played in a knockout system.

The online event will be broadcast on the Twitch channel https://twitch.tv/vr_esports1 with professional esports commentators who will switch live to the participants’ screens and analyze the gameplay of the players for the audience. Family and friends are invited to keep their fingers crossed in the stream.
