Cult musician Bob Dylan inst am 24. Mai 80 become. How much did he influence you?
I have Dylan discovered relatively late. At 20 I sang some hisr Songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind» oder «The Times They Are A-Changin’». Then I lost it completely aus the eyes. At times I didn’t care at all about in his christiann Phase. We didn’t play with my band Rocksack either Dylan-Lieder. It wasn’t until the late 1990s that I came across the Dylan album “Time Out of Mind” Daniel Lanois produced. So I have him rediscovered.

Martin Gmür translated the entire Dylan album “Nashville Skyline” into Swiss German. For the concert flyer, he had himself photographed in the same look as Dylan back then.

How did you come up with the idea to translate his songs into Swiss German?
As retirement approached, I felt like translating an entire record into Swiss German. I took that Nashville-Album in front. I already liked that always, it is one simpleright record, with simpler love songs. For the 50th anniversary of the album, in 2019, I played a concert in Dimension. JNow, I keep translating Dylan songs that I just run into.
