On August 14, 2001, Simone was born in Florida and first raised Dwayne Johnson and his then-wife, film producer Dany Garcia, 53, as parents. She remains the only child together for the couple, who were married from 1997 to 2008. Her parents’ divorce was peaceful. In 2012, Dwayne and Dany founded the film production company “Seven Bucks Productions” together and are still good friends today.

Simone had a close relationship with her father from an early age. For the actor, she is his “solid rock”, as he explained in numerous interviews. “We have such a precious relationship. She always teaches me new things,” he told E! News in 2017. Two years later, the then 16-year-old was given a great honor: she was the first ambassador of the Golden Globe Awards. Previously, children of major actors were nominated Miss or Mister Golden Globe by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which awards the awards, to assist during the event. The daughters of Jack Nicholson, Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone have already acted as Golden Globe assistants.

During the ceremony, Simone joined dad Dwayne on stage. After thanking her parents and the HFPA, she declared that she supports Global Girl Media. The non-profit organization fights against racism and sexism by, among other things, teaching black girls journalistic skills. The “Red Notice” actor is visibly moved at this moment. I’m humbled, grateful and ready to work,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of herself . As you might expect, her dad was bursting with pride. Speaking on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in May 2020, he said he was “blown away” that his then 18-year-old daughter was following the same path as him. But Simone’s career was put on hold. Already at the tender age of 16 Simone started to train for her big dream. However, a few months after she finally landed the WWE contract, she revealed that she was suffering from knee problems. “Tomorrow I will be operated on for the third time on my knee. As little fun as an operation is, I am looking forward to my kneecaps no longer popping out,” she said via Twitter in September 2020. At the time, Dwayne Johnson was the first “Third Generation Superstar” and was a total of ten WWE Champion. Perhaps Simone is also following in her father’s footsteps in terms of the numerous victories? The 20-year-old has not yet fought a professional fight, but it shouldn’t be long before she steps into the ring as a fully trained wrestler.
