Bent Viscaal ensured the first Dutch success of the day by winning Formula 3 at Silverstone. After a spectacular fight in the absolute final phase of the race, he finally managed to cross the finish line first.
In the twenty lap race, Viscaal only took the lead on the last lap. He fought a grim duel with Lirim Zendeli, who did not give up. After the Dutchman had passed Zendeli, Viscaal lost the lead again to his car behind. In the last corner, however, he manages to pass Zendeli again and thus secure the victory. It is the first victory for the 20-year-old driver in Formula 3.

Viscaal is part of the Dutch MP Motorsport. Together with Richard Verschoor he represents that team in Formula 3. Verschoor finished 18th at Silverstone.
