In the evening (July 1, 2021) the city council decided to “end” the wholesale market on Ulmenstrasse. The site belongs to the city. The contract will now expire at the end of 2024. Years of negotiations about what the future of the wholesale market could look like have not brought an agreement. Many antique and junk dealers are regularly drawn to the site because the “Radschlägermarkt” takes place there once a month.
