“In order to stop the increase in morbidity and protect people’s lives, today I have signed an order declaring the days of June 15-19 as holidays, while maintaining the salary of employees,” the mayor said in his blog.

As a result, the long holidays in the capital will last from June 12 to 20, he added.

New restrictions have been set for entertainment, recreation and catering places, the mayor said.

Attractions, children’s and sports grounds, and other recreation and entertainment facilities will be closed in large parks and nature areas.

“In fact, you will only be able to walk in the parks,” the mayor said.

Sobyanin also urged that at least 30% of unvaccinated workers work from home.
