On Sunday 9 January, Duchess Kate, the future British Queen, turns 40 years old. And as it should be, her associated residence, Kensington Palace, marks the occasion with a set of new photos.
And the Duchess does not play royal jubilee. For the occasion, she has hired star photographer Paolo Roversi, who has immortalized the birthday child in three brilliant photographs.

– The pictures are taken straight out of adventure, states the celebrity magazine People, who also thinks the pictures are «strikingly stylish».
The pictures, which were taken in November in London’s Kew Gardens, will be exhibited at the British art gallery National Portrait Gallery.
In one of the pictures, she is wearing earrings that belonged to Princess Diana, writes the same magazine. The engagement ring, the iconic sapphire ring that also belonged to Princess Diana, is also seen in the picture.
