Duchess Kate (40)Britain’s future queen, has been a number of times compared to his deceased mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
The same goes for royal etiquette expert Myka Meier, when she describes how the Duchess raises her three children, Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4).

– Stay calm
Meier himself was apprenticed to Queen Elizabeth (96). To US Weekly she explains that Kate has probably learned “to handle things with elegance” from her mother-in-law.
Breaks royal protocol
– For Princess Diana, there was so much stress and pressure all the time. And I think we see the Duchess following the same path when it comes to staying calm, even if she does not necessarily feel the same behind closed doors, the expert explains.
Diana died at the age of 36 in a traffic accident in Paris in 1997. She left behind the children Prince William at 15 and Prince Harry at 12.

No etiquette course
In the past, it was common for the royal children to be raised by nannies. But like Princess Diana, the Duchess raises the children herself, according to Elle.
– And found time
– It is actually known that children do not take etiquette courses. The Duchess actually raises them herself. So the way it works internally, when they are preparing to meet someone or get off the plane, it is the Duchess who has done a wonderful job of teaching the children.
– She says: «Now when we are going to meet this person. Then you do this. This is how you should say no ». And what I love is that it does not seem that there is any pressure to be something they are not. They are just beautiful little children who show respect and do it in the best way they have learned from the Duchess and Prince.

The etiquette expert cites Duchess Kate’s response to the children’s behavior on Queen Elizabeth’s platinum anniversary as an example.
There especially the youngest Louis had had enough, and spent the time to make faces and make fun. According to Meier, it is a very recognizable situation, and believes the Duchess handled the situation both calmly, elegantly and lovingly.
