The rumors about the black version of DualSense are confirmed. The controller still in the prototype version received the housing expected by many players, but Sony decided to distinguish the equipment on the last straight and opted for a white version.

As you know, Sony launched a white version of PlayStation 5 last year, with accessories in the same color. The company surprised a wide audience by not opting for a black housing, but the Japanese have been working on this DualSense edition for a long time.
In August last year, I mentioned on the portal a secret pad found by players in Taiwan – the black body has white buttons. Sony has already launched equipment in which the square, triangle, circle, cross, Share and Options are black, but we can confirm that the unusual design really existed.
Developer Jeff who previously presented the Alfa DualSenseconfirms that the black controller with white buttons is a beta prototype. Sony tried different solutions to the end, but in the end, the white edition hit the market.
Let’s hope that the rumors about the development of new panels for the PS5 by the PlayStation manufacturer will also be confirmed – I would gladly replace the white sides and replace them with an interesting theme with Sony games.
