He had drunk too much and still got behind the wheel. This Friday morning, around 5 a.m., a man lost control of his car in Gaillan-en-Médoc. The car struck the window of a florist, on the Place du 8 mai 1945, and caught fire. The fire spread to the business and to a home. Only the motorist was slightly injured and had to be transported to the Lesparre clinic. His blood alcohol level was positive. A gendarmerie investigation was opened.
