London Former rock band drummer Uriah Heep Lee Kerslake died on Saturday, succumbing to prostate cancer at the age of 73. This was announced by the Rolling Stone server. Kerslake joined Uriah Heep in late 1971 and contributed to the band’s nine music albums, beginning with the 1972 Demons and Wizards album. He stopped playing in the band due to health problems in 2007.
The drummer and Osbourne settled the copyright dispute after the cancer was discovered at the final stage: the singer acknowledged Kerslake’s contribution by sending him his platinum records, Rolling Stone recalled.
Kerslake died the day before the 40th anniversary of Osbourne’s debut album Blizzard of Ozz, which Rolling Stone topped the list of hundreds of the best rock albums of all time three years ago.
