The Dutch athlete Roelf B., who is stuck in Hungary on suspicion of drug trafficking, expresses regret for his actions and said he only wanted to help childhood friend Gert-Jan N. with the sale, writes de Volkskrant Wednesday on the basis of the statement made by B. at the Hungarian Public Prosecution Service.
On Wednesday, the Hungarian court decides whether the two Dutch nationals will remain in custody for longer. The two were arrested when they sold drugs at the Sziget music festival in Budapest.

Gert-Jan N.’s lawyer wants to talk to de Volkskrant not respond to the allegations. He does say that “it does not matter to the punishment in Hungary who devised the plan to sell drugs”.
If the men are finally sentenced, they can submit a request to serve their sentence in the Netherlands. Next month the case will be dealt with for the first time.
