A driver died in a head-on collision with a truck on the Shumen-Ruse road, the ODMI-Shumen reported.
A signal for a road accident near the village of Struyno was submitted shortly after 03:00 tonight. A traffic police team was sent to the scene. It was established that the driver of a minibus with an attached trailer was moving in the direction of Shumen. He entered the oncoming lane and crashed into an oncoming truck with a Moldovan registration. The driver of the bus, a 45-year-old man, died on the spot after the collision.
The on-site inspection continues. Traffic in the area is restricted. An organization has been set up for cars to be redirected via a road bypass route.
