Epiphanius clarified that a person who comes to the temple should be modest and dress appropriately. However, appearance should not be an obstacle to church attendance.
“Because if a woman comes without a headscarf and she is not allowed in, then she may never come to church again,” the metropolitan added.
According to him, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) develops other myths about religion almost every month in the media and social networks.
“We must talk about this, we must not hush up what hurts us, what is relevant, if we want to be more modern,” Epiphanius said.
