Actually, “Der Postillon” is best known for its unrealistic articles. Now the magazine didn’t seem so far removed from reality – and gives the company Dr. Oetker food for thought.

Pizza and pineapple – that goes together for many. But there are just as many who absolutely dislike this combination. “The Postillon” took up this phenomenon and promptly replaced the pineapple with another fruit. The satirical magazine presented the pizza as a new variant of the Dr. Oetker.

Now Dr. Oetker himself posted a two-week delay on the tweet on the satire page. “Quite unsporting to publish something like this during our well-deserved vacation,” wrote Dr. Oetker, but then added: “But now, hands out of your pants, who would buy?” The impetus for a completely new pizza variant?

Of course, the question was discussed diligently on Twitter. In fact, it’s about a strawberry pizza: tasty or just gross?

In the comments there are enthusiastic voices, but also suggestions for other pizza variations. A Twitter user writes: “Strawberries on a chocolate pizza – always.” (Editor’s note: Dr. Oetker already had a chocolate pizza. It was removed from the range in 2019.) A pizza fan suggests a combination made from strawberry florets and bacon. “When will we finally have a pizza sucuk with corn?” Asks another.
